Madison Southern @ Pulaski County 11/22 Regional Championship

The rain they are predicting favors Southerns running game as Pulaski is more pass oriented. The rain want slow down the Harris train.

so???? He will run over your AZZZZZ!

As far as Pulaski throwing more than running, PC has 250+ yards more on the ground than thru the air. So, the weather may not hurt at much as people think. The major factor will be holding on to the football. Whoever stays clean in that category will win. I'll take PC 32-24 in a barn burner!

Everybody is saying close game this time i have to disagree Pulaski has pllayed them already and knows how they do it as much as i hate to say it

Pulaski CO. 30

I got to see him play and he never run over anyones AZZZZZZ, he ran around or by them. He didnt do good up the middle, only on sweep becasue he is so fast. He is as one dimensional as their offense, he is great at sweep and that wildcat thing he does but only becaue he is so fast.

PLEASE keep doubting Madison Southern...I LOVE IT...PLEASE keep saying how awful everybody on this team is but Damien...you all keep adding fuel...and it will blow up on you all come Friday.

Opponents of Pulaski should pray for rain. That's the only way a team not named Bowling Green beats them.

Well I will have to go with Pulaski in this one. Had Harlan made it I would have went the other way. It is hard for 1 very great player to beat a solid well rounded team. I know Mr. Harris is not your normal great player but still be difficult. From what I hear he doesn't like to be hit and PC will hit you and hit you hard. Mad South will have trouble containing 12 and 2 at wide receiver for Pulaski. Very talented recievers and 12 a little underrated from what I have seen. He may be the best player on both sides of the ball on the team. He or the Smith kid. Th the rain could play a factor but still take PC over Damien Harris.

We think alike. However, I think you mean #15. He's a gamer.

Yes you are correct wildcat #15 is Gregory. He is the best player on both sides of the ball although i think that smith has probably got the offensive advantage, but it isn't by much.

No one doubts MS, and no one has ever said the other guys are terrible. But you are a 1 man show, if Harris gets hurt early in the game then you will see how good you are. Yeh teams trying to stop harrris open up stuf for the others, but they dont = what harris does for them.
I will say after the rockcastle game you all are the most arrogant fans in the state, you all need to act like you have been there before but you cant since you havent. enjoy becasue when harris is gone you wil be back to what we at rockcastle have always known.

Ya but Madison Southern and Damien Harris has already done with Pulaski hasn't and wouldn't of been able to do this year , Beat Harlan Co. I'll Southern against Pulaski, for the same reason I picked the against Harlan co, Damien Harris. Pulaski did slow him down in the First game a tune of like 250 yards. I expect this to be a great game. Myself and a group of Boyle Countians are making the trip down 27 for this.one. Since both our local teams are out. Not been to Pulaski stadium in a while, is it still the same parking and seating wise?

Well, and you all are back to what you were before Larkey...now he has it going in Harlan...you must be a Rockcastle fan. Our fans are not arrogant ask Harlan fans...if we get beat to Pulaski we will shake their hands and say good luck to you the rest of the way!

Harris train coming through he runs for over 200+ and the Eagles advance you heard it here first!!! Pulaski undefeated season comes to an end.

BAD NEWS for Pulaski: Rain is going to hit and likely pretty hard. Running the football is always better than throwing in the rain. Pulaski may be pretty balanced with both the run to the pass in the spread offense, however this type of offense isn't designed to go mudding in the rain. To my knowledge Johnny H doesn't get out of the gun. Never has, never will. Harris has ability to take quick choppy steps which may actually even help him more and Mad South offense good for rainy weather.

In dry conditions I would take Pulaski by couple scores. In the rain I'll take Mad South by 10. Smile Eagles, you will move on thanks to mother nature

The way your fans acted after the game in rockcastle was stupid, zero class.

I've read back through the post, no one has said anything about the rest of the team other than Harris being awful. People have said you wouldn't be playing this Friday if not for him, that's obvious. No way MS is regional championship caliber team without him. PC fans are nervous about the game, they know you have a good TEAM, but if you control Harris you beat MS.

I am well aware, but last time I checked Madison Southern has one of the best defenses in 5A. I just feel like these FACTS get over looked and nobody cares. Madison Southern shut Pulaski out in the 2nd half of the first game, and if not for a HORRIBLE 1st quarter then Southern could have won that game. There was one call in the first game that was a bad call and hurt Pulaski, and it really should have been a 10 point game....that's a true statement. I just feel Southern's defense figured out how to defend Pulaski after half time and Southern will do that from the opening kickoff this Friday. Contain Pulaski's QB and the Eagles should be just fine.
#82
A FACT being overlooked as well is that Pulaski is 3-0 vs Madison Southern with Damien Harris. 2 of those 3 wins coming AT MS on the turf. Pulaski does not rely on 1 player, they don't rely on just the run or the pass, PC is a balanced team(2,905 yd rushing 2,461 yd passing). Harris will get his, no doubt, he is just that good, but anyone who saw the earlier meeting saw Pulaski handle Madison Southern for the entire game. Pulaski went into ball control mode after taking the 21-10 lead. Smart move to keep the ball away from the most dangerous running back in the state. We will get the chance to see just how good that defense is come Friday night. Looking like terrible weather, dress warm and stay dry!

Pulaski County is undefeated at home in the playoffs(12-0) and that record will grow to 13-0 after Friday night!

Hey! Don't forget! Neither Pulaski or Madison Southern have played anybody! I don't know if we will have a winner tomorrow. KHSAA may have to send Perry County Central because they have played "good" teams like Corbin, Tates Creek, Johnson Central, and Harlan County. Pulaski and Madison Southern don't have experience of being blown out which is apparently crucial to making a run in the playoffs! :lmao:

According to the weather, it's supposed to start raining around midnight and go at least until the start of the game if not longer. Unfortunately for Damien Harris, a soaking wet field is his worst enemy because unlike Harlan County, Pulaski County has a grass field. So when he tries to cut on a dime and make a play out of nothing he is going to slip and slide whether he wants to or not. If it rains during the entire game, this one is going to be ugly! Literally and figuratively! Game will be a toss up if it rains the entire game. If the rain stops before the game or before it's over the big advantage will go to the better passing team IMO, which is Pulaski.

How will the winner of this game do against Anderson or Franklin from the other region? Don't know nothing about those teams, would PC or MS be favored against the winner of that region. Do they prefer to run or pass?

Ive been on the Pulaski wagon since last year (ask HDE) and im not getting off of it now.

The thing that you're discounting is the weather. No doubt that Pulaski has a very balanced offense. However, can they win as just a passing team or just a running team? No one knows. If the weather shuts down the passing game can Pulaski win just running the ball? Maybe. Maybe not. The Maroons are down at least one more offensive lineman--maybe two. It depends on if Tilley can go. If this comes down to just the running games of the two teams then you have to favor Madison Southern, right? I'm not so sure. I think Aaron Smith is the difference in the game. Maroons win the region, 34-28.

There is no way that a one man team is going to take down a great TEAM like Pulaski.
