I think Pikeville, Raceland, or Hazard will knock off Williamsburg. Even with what the three that atent the burg lose, they return alot of tallent, speed and strength. All of which they didnt have enough of to compete with Wburg last year. Someone will shock Wburg come playoff time. Which is really all it will accomplish in the east. Mayfield is the big dawg, with them being, imo atleast 5 tds better than the east rep. Beechwood and Frankfort being somewhere around 2 score favorites. Either way, the east will have a new rep in bowling green in 2014.

Well if Scotty is predicting that Williasmburg can't win then I feel real good about there chances. Seeing that he thought Raceland was gonna run wild all over Williasmburg last year lol. How did that work out for the Rams?
06-08-2014, 07:38 AM
I maybe.wrong about this.But didn't everybody predict Williamsburg last year this would.be Williamsburg.year.
06-08-2014, 08:41 AM
You are correct 64. That's a first.
06-08-2014, 08:44 AM
Now, just because everyone picked this to be the burg's year doesn't mean it will. That was before we found they had no defense. You cannot win state championships without defense.

We made it to the dance with defense...Williamsburg will make it back with defense Mysonis55.We will be better prepared this year with 10 kerosene heater on the sideline to stay warm. :lmao:

Well, Scotty wasnt expecting Williamsburg's defense to be as good as it was. Im just sayig that they have all the makings of the 2008 Raceland squad. Who alao came up short and got defeated in the Reg finals.

Scotty Williamsburg loss less than any of the three teams you are picking to beat them. They held both Hazard and Raceland to 1 score. They have 14 of their top 15 kids on defense back. Pikeville may be able to get the job done. From the posts I've read from Panther fans the Rams only prevailed because of field conditions. Pikeville gets to play at home throughout this year on turf. Did you play on the dry side of the field?
06-08-2014, 11:09 AM
In november there's not a dry side to Raceland's field lol.
06-08-2014, 11:30 AM
I just don't see the rams competing for region or semi I would like to see them there because I think the score would be worst then last time. (37-7) I believe could be wrong on that one but it was a blowout!
06-08-2014, 11:33 AM
I never saw the defense. Were them 15 there at BG or did they take the week off.

They didn't play in the 1st qtr

06-08-2014, 11:42 AM
The reason it appeared they played in second and third was simply because we weren't throwing to deon any more. You will find when MHs gets up they won't try to rub salt in the wound. I was really surprised how long we went before jv got in. They did some substituting early though. There could have been many more scores.
06-08-2014, 11:44 AM
I think the defense was not used to seeing the versatility they saw in that game. Some teams play short game with either pass or run. Some teams play long game. The key is to be able to use both at any time you need to.

It's early June and the trash talking has already started. Got to love it. What will it be like when games start?
06-08-2014, 12:50 PM
No trash talk. I am just saying, they have to fix the defense. The offensive line play also really needs work. If they could fix those things then you can talk about being there. 2 things ring soundly in my mind. I have always heard that games are won and lost in the trenches. The second thing is I've always heard defense wins championships. Those / things were VERY obvious in that game. That is no slight meant. I was very happy to see 64's old team there and was happy for him and that bunch.

64 since you have already given us a list of the top 5 teams you claim, id like to see your top 5 list of excuses for the burg in bg. You have already named the water and heaters what else you got. Such a different tone from the same guy that said after that game that there was no excuses now you bring up the heaters again.
06-08-2014, 03:56 PM
He forgot that they had to stand on the sunny sideline. I bet it had something to do with the dark jerseys as well. Of course it was raining so they couldn't throw. Jake Guhy and Deon Jackson had the only dry balls in town.

1. We don't have Mayfield water
2. We didn't have no heater to keep our boys warm
3. We did not play no games on turf.
4. We the fans was to far from the field.
5. We play a 2A school.
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I have more saving them for December 2015 :Cheerlead

I wish it was football season....
06-08-2014, 04:39 PM
You are not the only one. The chatting is a lot more fun at that time. I happen to be setting in the stands of the Portage High School Indians in far northern Indiana right now. No, mine is not changing schools. We are here for graduation of my niece. Huge school but there field is not as nice as McCrackens. I don't like their stadium as much as ours and I doubt their football team could beat either of us.

Dang 64 all that bogus stuff, and you forgot the only legitimate excuse that would have an effect. Skyler griffith being out im sure hurt yall. I know how much it hurts to have a key player out like that. Im sure russellville, and frankfort could say the same thing about having some big time players hurt. It happens to every good team eventually.
06-09-2014, 09:22 AM
Don't help the excusinator out there killbilly. He will wear that one out now.
06-09-2014, 09:48 AM
Im sure he doesnt need any help. Ill do my list just for 64 using some of the comments from the update thread i remember. 1 mayfield d is impressive. 2 they cant cover number 4. 3 that frosh has some afterburners. 4 wiliamsburg has it first and goal at the mayfield 5 and goes backwards. 5 total domination by mayfield. And that is my top 5 reasons williamsburg got beat down. I hope 64 likes it.

I hope you will ride with the burg this year 64, it wouldnt be the same without all your smack talk. I fear you are slipping further and further away though. I think you will be a pikeville fan by late november.

If Pikeville makes it my (sleeper team) paintsville will take care of pikeville. I Think. :HitWall:

It isn't the same on here since he dropped the burg for Corbin. He only did that because it is a little closer to west and they wear red like MHs.
