I am not a Coach......I can assure you if 40 years standing behind a fence Qualify me then I'm a coach and a unpaid coach for SUR. :lmao:

They should have had 7 home games last season.

We had 6 at home last season , and we have to go to Letcher County this year again because the contract was singed to play at Letcher both years, or we would have had 4 at home this year.

Never mind saw you answered it thank u, need to get parents on the same page they stirring a lot up because lack of knowledge I think they did not know it was not your fault for 3 home games

that's just crap get our boys killed for money we should not be playing Letcher central aren't they 5a? We can't even compete with terrible 1a schools right now. This is year number 2 hopefully we see improvement forward they should be able to compete in several of the games realistically we should have 3 wins and a playoff appearance that would be good progress we cant stand for another 0-10 or 1-9 season again and again I have watched this for way too long last year was one of the toughest to stomach got to see improvement saw many of the games

Onieda state champs in tn. 1992 , williamsburg and wayne our neighbors played for a title our community must demand more from everyone get serious bout it or bury it period

we need something I think parents should go to school board and demand answers from the board and principal she is overall responsible if ur going to have a football program you got to put kids in position to win losing the way we do destroys kids she has to step up she is doing nothing to build this up go 0-10 being out scored 511-38 and the coach you let resign is the one with the most exp.? WTH how is this good for kids. IMO I agree with cellking (not often I do)when he says admin does not support football it starts with her program is slipping fast each year since my boy graduated sad to see kids go through it

Leslie and McCreary but roots for Leslie McCreary and somerset now since he retired :Shaking::Shaking: probably pulls for your colonels too btw I like your new coach

This is the last post I will make until season is over about McCreary, we are working hard to get better, this program has not been good consistently since it's inception. Last year was very tough , when you have to come in to a high school program and teach basic things like a gap , b gap and so forth you are in for a very tough challenge, now that being said I like the challenge and will continue to work hard to make these kids better. Now as for you Banker you seem to be very upset and I try to understand, but instead of getting on here and trashing the program maybe ,just maybe you could put that energy to positive use by trying to help us get more kids out. At any rate we will continue to work hard to put a quality football team on the field for McCreary County, will it happen overnight? Probably not, but Rome was not built in a day either. Will we show improvement this year? Yes I firmly believe we will. And the greatest accomplishment of all will be a group of young men will go out and give their best on Friday nights just for love of the game. GO RAIDERS!
