Here's what I will say... as of right now I feel like Danville is a slightly better team than Pburg.
If it gives you any consolation if Danville loses any of their next three games while Pburg closes out the season 9-1 I will gladly I admit I was wrong and start an entire thread saying you were right.

I may be wrong about this one as well. Danville might lose to Middlesboro and ShelbY Valley may go on to play Pburg for the Regional Title. At the same time I will never be afraid to have a healthy debate when someone wants to actually use intelligence and logic.
That's why I do Power Rankings every week and start a thread asking people to post their Top 10 for each class to foster exchanges just like this.

I really think the best chance for Danville to lose will be against Frankfort. If they lose to Middlesboro I think it will only prove my point sooner as I thought Middlesboro was overrated also.
You have to like the fact that the 2A rankings have had more debate this week than all the others combined. We are on page 3 now.
I have always respected your opinion and although I don't agree with it this time I still respect it. I would still love to see that thread though.

Frankfort is an interesting case right now. That game will have a lot of eyes on it for 2A and 1A fans.

Pburg never dropped in rankings for losing to Pikeville. That's not even what BCF and I are debating. Try to keep up. We are debating the merit of whether a good win offsets the merits of a good loss. We are pretty deeply debating what makes quality wins. Never once has the premise of punishing a team for a loss has even been part of what we are saying.

Keep up now. Let me refresh you on what he is saying (contradicting himself). He is saying Somerset and Pike Central are equal. Prestonsburg beat Pike Central by 9 points (which was not enough) and Danville beat Somerset by 2 (which is enough because they are not Prestonsburg) and that is why Danville leaped above Prestonsburg in the rankings. :eyeroll:

Based off your reasoning Pburg should be ranked behind Danville, correct? Pburg lost to a 1A team...while Danville's losses came while playing up against a 3A and 4A team.
I don't agree with this logic but do want to see if you agree Danville is better than Pburg.

I know I'm not the one debating your rankings, but I'll forward my take:
Prestonsburg
Danville
Murray and Shelby Valley
LCA
Lloyd, Walton-Verona, and Leslie Co. (jumbled - none with a win over a competent opponent yet) AND I'd throw in winless Somerset (just because they played Danville -away- close...they'll likely end up the most dangerous 3 or 4 seed in the class)
A LOT of this gets sorted in the next week or two...

I did that to give my team some confidence entering district play. I'm sorry it made everyone as mad as it did. And shouldn't of

For those who were bashing and implying that Shelby valley wasn't good enough to be in the top 10 I would just like to point out the fact that Shelby Valley ranks 3rd in all classes in total rushing yards. #1 in class 2A by a VERY large margin. I would also like to point out that Shelby Valley's run defense ranks 5th in all classes and #1 again in class 2A in run defense. They also rank 2nd in all classes in pass defense and are yet again #1 in class 2A. So I believe that Shelby Valley has earned the right. They may have not had the hardest schedule but those stats are impressive regardless of your opponents. Shelby valley has played a few good teams btw who are ranked in their classes. Just thought I'd throw this in there.

I was only answering your fans question. I'm not mad nor do i hold your actions against Leslie County. I don't have a problem with someone trying to give their team confidence, but you should be careful of the cleats you step on when trying to do so. You are the one who put the target on your teams helmet.
