This thread is simple. For those of you too young to remember, the thread title came from a regular feature of the old Hee-Haw show. What did you have for dinner?
My wife cooked homemade chicken panang curry over basmati rice, which is a spicy Thai dish with chicken, chili peppers, onions, and pineapple chunks.

My daughter surprised me this evening with a Thai dinner. Spring rolls, pot stickers, Larb gai (spicy chicken salad), Pad Thai, and my favorite dessert - sticky rice and slices of fresh mangoes.

I surprised myself with canned spaghetti and meatballs and rolls.

Fighting a bad cold and don't have much of a stomach for food right now. But, summer sausage, havarti cheese slices on zesta crackers got the job done this evening!

Got comp'ny from my main office. All the stuffed shirts from (yuk) Louisville!! So, made a couple gallons of beef stew and that pumpkin cake that I've got all the tail gaters addicted to eating! Made a few dozen cornbread sticks, so that ought to hold them city fellers for lunch!!

Can you pour gravy on that and sop it up with a biscuit Hoot?

It is easier to find good Asian food where I live than good biscuits and gravy. It's a good thing that I like rice.

My husband's idea as well!! I could live on veggies, but he has to have a meat, potatoes, another veggie and hot bread...otherwise, it's only a snack!!

Yesterday Beef pot roast, carrots, taters...
Placed one large cut up yellow onion and garlic in the crock pot for flavor and some good cheap beer...it was delish!
Tonight, home made chicken soup with rice vs. noodles!

Turkey and dressing last night. The turkey is a little dry, so I just ordered a new food processor and will probably use it to fix some turkey salad tonight.
I love Amazon.com. I checked local prices on line and found that it was cheaper to order from Amazon and pay for same day delivery. Sure, I could make turkey salad by hand, but it's a good excuse to treat myself to an early Christmas gift. Of course, I will tell my wife that it is her early Christmas present.
