I don't think we played that well.
Overall, we missed way to many easy buckets.
GC was obviously much better than Upike and Gtown put together, but were still 60 points better than that team.
The biggest adjustment I see that needs to be made is Lyles needs to start over Poythress.
Id then leave the starters in longer and only bring in the second group when the first bunch is lacking excitement and enthusiasm. Towns also played a horrible game. Dakari looked much better tonight.
Going by JUST this game, id go...
Harrison
Harrison
Lyles
Towns
WCS
Off the bench in this order
Dakari
Poythress
Ulis
Lee
Booker
Hawkins
Willis

I agree with gut.
Very shakey game..
Now I do believe after its all said and done we should be champions.
But after watching this game, playing Kansas so early scares me.
Trey Lyles is a heck of a player.
If I had to pick who did best last night all around. Probably WCS.

What kills me is Dakari just lays it in..
I wished he played more aggressive at the rim.
Rip it off Dakari!

How ironic is it that Lyles was Indianas Mr. Basketball and is at UK?
Too bad we don't play them this year. Ill never forget that 3 at the buzzer.

If we're going to play a tough team I'm glad it's Kansas. They didn't look good at all.

Well they didnt win by much.
Duke (I know you hate em gut) is a threat.
As bad as I hate to say it.. Talking about tournament play, Gonzaga finally has a good team.
Louisville will be tough but I think we will top them 15+.. Or more.
The other games are UNC and Texas. Texas doesn't worry me as much as UNC.
They got the fat boy at 7 feet that can drain.

SEC play - LSU returns a lot.
Miss. St has Ware..
That's about all the threats ill talk about in SEC.
Florida.. They are going to get thumped.

They didnt play that great T-CATS.
I like your enthusiasm, but they should have won by 60+.
Not 40.

A player blocking a wildcat 3/4 times, especially with this team, one word.
Unacceptable.
Unacceptable.

Only a UK fan would be upset or pick at a 40 point win. They'll be fine.

To be honest, Duke is the only team I seen that actually looks good enough to beat UK.
The other top teams just do not impress me. Duke is athletic enough to hang around. Wouldn't surprise me to see them meet UK in the finals.
Wisconsin would be my third team, and after that im not really sold on anybody being good enough to beat UK.

I don't think anybody is upset with the win, I think were upset with how we looked in certain aspects of the game. In other words, we cant play like we did by missing lay ups and beat quality teams.

I agree with the earlier post about Dakari being more aggressive around the rim and not just laying it in the basket. They keep saying he is a first round pick but I just can't seem him getting by with some of the stuff he does now in the NBA. Obviously a hard worker because he got himself in great shape and he seems like a really level headed young man, but I have concerns about his getting it done in the NBA if he can't be more explosive. Here's to him showing some rim ripping attitude this year.

I don't expect them to look unbeatable at this point. Every team in the country has a lot to improve upon in November.
