Belfry puts this one away early.... Heywood rests his 1's the 2nd half.

And to be honest, I look for the JC vs. Belfry game to follow suit from last year.
If Belfry has any injuries or banged up players, I really don't think Heywood takes the risk of getting his 1's hurt against JC. Yes, this has turned in to a rivalry, but I would 10,000 to 1 rather win a state championship than beat a team that has no playoff implications and is nothing but a regular season game.

Belfry can a 3 Peat in Class 3A this year.

Despite the score lc did not play well at pcc, I see belfry with a running clock before halftime, once the runnig clock starts Haywood goes to jv.

Since 2000 Belfry is 52-2 against teams from Pike County

17-0 vs. Pike Central
11-0 vs. East Ridge
10-0 vs. Shelby Valley
14-2 vs. Pikeville

Until Pikeville beat Belfry in 2014, Belfry had a 49 game winning streak against the rest of the Pike County natives

Someone please correct me if I am wrong but I think Belfry is undefeated against East Ridge, PC, and Shelby Valley.

I am sure they probably lost to Elkhorn City at some point and maybe even John's Creek..but I would be curious to know Belfry's All-Time record against Pike County schools.

Johns Creek beat them one, maybe two times. Elkhorn did a couple of times.

Outside of Pikeville I would say Belfry is in the single digits when it comes to losses to Pike County teams.
