Now 64sur don't go getting crazy I was skeptical of Powell winning last week and this week is the same a big challenge to overcome but Casey was a good defense I watched the Corbin Casey game and Corbin was struggling with them till the fourth quarter. but with that Powell will have to play a team like they have never seen before in the red hounds I mean their offense is stellar and the defense is as tight as fort Knox if Powell wants to travel to the Cam to play they will have to play a great game on the whole. I like both teams going into this one. be a great offensive game for sure Sizemore and brooks are both great players and will have to lead their teams in this one.

If it’s classless to bring in extra accommodations like porta Johns and extra stands. Then yea..... class less I guess. By the way, it’s not Corbin’s fault the porta Johns were nasty. It’s the company who was contracted out. You could have walked across and used the normal bathrooms.

Whoever told you our defense is a bit down is a fool. That’s our strong suit. To be as humble as I can, our defense is down right nasty. I’ll be the first to tell ya the offense isn’t stellar, but it puts points up, pretty solid overall. Special teams are so so, probably our weakest part

That's a very honest assessment and I'm not from Corbin, but I have watched them play. Powell can certainly eat up the clock and move the ball, but they are not very good on the defensive side of the ball.

Yeah you might get a couple in, we hope to have the starters out by half. And for our defense being down or whatever was said, better not bet your paycheck on that one. Defense is as solid as it has been all year, probably better than all year. Those boys have developed a sense of urgency to make big hits, and get the ball back. They are more physical than they have been all year.

Someone mentioned the offense, 2017 451-142, 2016 505-105 with the first five weeks being boot camp, I wouldn’t talk to much crap about the offense. There isn’t a team around that will score every time they touch the ball.

I have heard that there are several starters on the defense out is that not true? and i think that the Money kid on the offensive side is great the quarter back makes alot of solid plays i think that Corbins offense is very good

I totally agree with this Casey is a solid ball team I mean Corbin didn't jump out until the fourth quarter against them. Casey is a easy top 10 team in 3a Powell might not beat the red hounds but I do believe they have earned more credit than some are giving them. No matter what, Powell has alot to be proud of they came from a rough start to be in the regional championship against a top 2 or 3 team in 3a I personally have got a lot of respect for Haddix and his redhounds. Gonna be a good game in Stanton on Friday for sure

Lot of folks taking the chalk, and I get it. It’s the obvious play, no name Powell against big name Corbin. Powell is a great story but Corbin’and their fans already thinking about the state semis. Hound 05, even if Powell moves the ball some on Corbin, they can't stop Corbin's offense. Powell has a pretty good offense, but their defense is very weak. I hope Powell can make it a game, but they just won't stop Corbin enough times to be in a position to win.
