Birds started out with 2 wins. But SC questioned how good they really are. But I think HHS wins this one. If they didn’t have SC second quess their ability. They were humbled pretty good.

Ryle by 21. No answer for a healthy England and the speed of Cusick. They will make the difference. The new JR. QB will have another week getting most of the practice reps after a good performance but limited throws against Boone. The D is getting better game by game with adjustments and personnel moves.

England is a stud no doubt.

Highlands NEEDS to win this game EASILY if they truly are on their way âbackâ

I'll take the Birds.

If Birds get beat. The talk will be. Here we go again. And the people of Ft Thomas ain’t going to like it

I'll take Highlands in a close one.

He is playing WR and some DB now. #4 is a Jr. has a better release and is a bit more accurate. He has developed nicely since last year. So far he makes better reads and scrambles to pass, is more decisive with the football. #4 just gives us a bit more from the position right now.

Birds 31 Ryle 28

I like it. Hopefully #9 embraces his new role and has a lights out game. Nice to see kids sacrifice their own ambition for the teamâs success. Iâm thinking this has the makings for a great game and kinda feel Ryle eeks out the victory.

If Ryle defense half as good as Scott Co does that mean HHS will have 44 yards total offense??? lol

I'm sure there is some disappointment. He has a good family and he's a super well rounded kid. He definitely will be on the field full time somewhere, so like you I hope he takes it in stride and just kills it wherever we use him.

Every time we have played them before that was one of those games you wished you could forget.

It will be a tough game. No CAKEWALK ( pun intended). I think we win physically in a couple areas and get the 14 point win.

Highlands is a finesse team. They aren’t going to blow people off the line. And if the first guy to the ball on defense didn’t try to tackle the ball it might be better not to do that

Highlands handles a one dimensional Ryle team and comes out with a 7 to 10 point win.

For me it’s a pick em

Ryle will get it together. You should see the Frosh Team. Loaded, beat CC 35-0, beat a good Conner team 10-8, and Beat Boone 35-0 tonight. Linebackers are out of this world. Future is bright..

Highlands has an O coordinator problem. If they do not open up the offense and stop trying to do what has not been working, it will be another long season in Fort Thomas. I am surprised that with jobs on the line, Coach W. has not tried someone different in this role especially after several snafus last season that cost the team at least two wins. That said, I think Highlands wins this one by 2 scores.

Could not have said it any better.

Are their jobs really on the line or is it just grumbling from the stands? Any substantiating the statement or is it just a feeling?

This is what is often called "an open secret". Most know what is on the line this year in the Fort. The unknown is the height of the bar that needs to be cleared.

I think the "Answer" was figured out.

Ryle always has a great Freshman team and always blowouts all of their opponents. That does not translate to the same level of success at the Varsity level. I'm not knocking Ryle in any way, but this is the exact same rhetoric that is said about Ryle every year when talking about how talented the Frosh class is. Enjoy Frosh football wins, I'll take Varsity wins from a less talented Frosh team.
