JMO, if we beat the brakes off Casey, the Redhounds better get ready because we will beat them next.

Corbin is on a different level than majority of 3a. Bell is catching up, donât get me wrong! I believe the bobcats are on the come up from the recent slump they have been in historically. But the redhounds are a force to be reckoned with. Bell should be the favorite to win Friday night but they would have to play top notch to hang with the redhounds.

This will be a tough game on the road and definitely the best team we have played yet this year. I believe we will win, but its going to be a tough test. No reason to be concerned with Corbin until after this game for sure! This game is huge! The winner of it is assured (basically) a home playoff game.

This will be a great indicator of Bell's improvements and weaknesses.
I wish it was played on Flag Mountain though!
I'm pulling for Bell, but think Casey's home field advantage may make the difference.

Casey has really turned their program around. It used to be an easy win every year.

corbin is very very talented, but anyone can be beat. Especially if you overlook someone. This district has some talent and anyone can come out on top.

Not taking anything away from them what so ever they are a solid squad. But if corbin plays like corbin can there hard to beat.

This game will tell us a lot about both teams. I'll take Bell County because of the Dudley effect.

Of course I'm rooting the other way and this can be viewed as "pre-excuse", but the field conditions, more than the home field I think may play out to be the biggest factor. Bell, typically with their size would seem to have the much bigger advantage over the finesse of Casey. However it may all simply come down to ball control with that slick/muddy ball. This may sound ignorant, but I almost wish this was on Log Mountain, except for our fan gate $$. Also, this is "The Apple Festival"...hate any game on the Apple Festival, kills our gate, but at least Bell folks will show up in droves, hopefully, to get those $$$. :-)

Anyone talking about Corbin right now is just nuts and I'm sure both football fan bases that know football are HOPING the other team and coach's are thinking ahead. But the fact is, both of these coaching staffs have brains.

Totally agree. Don't worry about who your playing in the next game, worry about who's in front of you now. Or you may get blind sided! But I don't think any of the coaches or players are looking ahead though, just us crazy fans, Lol!

Casey 35
Bell 28

Yeah I agree with that 100%. This may be stupid, but maybe the coolest thing to me was a few Corbin folks came to see us in their bye week. I am sure they are confident against us but that was at least somewhat of a compliment. I doubt any Corbin fan in history, before, said let's cruise over to Casey county. lol. I was definitely at Corbin on our bye-week. They looked better than last year, IMO. But Corbin is a million miles away in my mind this week.

IMO the Hounds will put a running clock on either of these teams...I'm just sayin.

I would be in shock if this is the case when Bell and Corbin play. Not predicting a Bell victory or anything like that, but I really believe we will be able to play with Corbin.
That said, all that matters right now is Casey County. We are making a long trip on the road. This is going to be a slobber knocker game.

Only Coach I know that tries to give his new team bulletin board material with his old account and old team. Give it a break.

This game will be game of the week, IMO. Several different factors to make it so, but mainly playoff implications. Casey was upset last year playing their most lackluster game of the season, positionally on defense. The offense was still really good in the Powell game, defensively our kids were on a different planet. A Corbin rematch was going to be, at least, interesting. Bell and Casey this year should be a fun game, whoever wins. Bell has gained a couple of players that help them, and Casey lost a good senior class. It's still a good style clash that makes the game where anything can happen, from a close game, overtime game, to possibly one team winning by a couple of TDs, or more. In my opinion this game is won by one score, and could go for either team.

I am not a Casey county fan.. but I love the way they have turned their football program around over the past few years.. I am happy for those kids and coaches and the entire community, and I know they are proud.. And what can you say about Dudley Hilton at Bell County that's not already been said.. Simply a great High School football coach....

Dudley has probably forgot more about power football and how to win than 95% of coach's have ever knew. Plus, from what I saw last year, he has not lost his energy at all.
