With Foley accepting the Southwestern job, a team that returns quite a bit of talent from a state semi-final run, is looking for a new coach.
They drop down to 3A, but the change shouldn't be that big of a deal.
This job should definitely get some interest. It would be a nice spot for someone to get their first head coach position.

I wont go into details publicly yet, but lets just say they are not following regulations at the moment.

Rumor has it that Taylor County administrators have turned Foley in. Eager to know if that is true or not.

Talked to a reliable source from Taylor County. Said they are getting rid of anything that reminds them of Foley!

That's usually what happens when you string an administration along and try to squeeze ever penny you can out of them. Now I really wonder if Foley ever wanted Southwestern or if he only took it because Taylor got tired of him trying to play them and Taylor told him to get his stuff and leave.

Pretty sure Taylor wouldn't want to lose a coach who coached them to their first region championship ever.

From what I have heard....
Job was offered to someone who declined
There was another coach interested, but I haven't heard much more than that.
I believe their Boys Basketball Coach is open as well now.

Anything new on this position? Heard the job was offered to their DC Payne, but he turned down the job. Anyone else interested? Would think this would be an attractive position after their first region championship.

I haven't heard that it was ever officially offered to anyone. They are still accepting applications for the next week or two, I know that.
I think they might be wanting somebody who is wanting or willing to stay in the area long term.

I believe they have landed a coach that will do a great job. I donât want to let the cat out of the bag, but Iâm sure the announcement will be tomorrow or Thursday..

I am hearing Sam Marple. He was an assistant at Taylor under Dudley. Any truth to this?
