Why worry about seeds, if you make it to third round who cares who you play? To win it you have to beat the best. If you consider yourself in the hunt for a state championship it shouldn't matter, if you are looking for a way in the big game then worry about it.

It is at Corbin on Whitley schedule also. New 2 year contract I guess. It looks like Whitley would only had 3 home games in 20 had they played Corbin home this year.

I honestly can’t remember his first name right now. But he’s a year behind trey. He’s a stockier build kid. Will probably have more size and strength than trey will. Trey has they speed and quickness on him though, but he’s not slow by anymeans. Just more of a “power back” kind of kid. It’ll be very interesting watching those two develop over the next few years though. The group as well. I think we might take a step back this year but for the years after that to come there is some talent in the pipes.

I hope your right lots of athletes graduate this year that won’t easily be replaced. Our LB’s were the backbone of our defense, I’d say they accounted for 3/4 of the tackles and only 1 of them return, not saying we can’t but there’s some very big shoes left to fill. I am however very optimistic I do think great strides will be made from the beginning to the end of the season...

Corbin's program is better than most but not on Mayfields level. Sorry but that is just factual. They are not a top 10 program in this state. I do think they are well above average.

Corbin is a great KY HS Football Program. Top 10? Who knows......never thought about it. I'd say they are close when you consider the following:

Talent
Staff
Facilities
Fan base
Community Support
History

I'd say if they're not Top 10, it's close.

Corbin will be a very good team this year and even better come playoff time. With Shelton, Yeager, Steeley, Longmire etc they have a lot of skilled players left off last years team. Coach Haddix will make adjustments through out the year and by play-offs they will be fine tuned.
