According to the Mayfield Messenger, four and a half months after taking the head coaching post of Graves County’s football program, athletic officials confirmed Thursday that Morgan Cruce has stepped down before ever coaching a game, citing personal reasons.

Eagles defensive coordinator Nick Kemp has been named interim coach for the 2019 season, according to GCHS athletic director Khristain Elliott.

Well since they only interviewed 2 people, one just quit, and the other one is now the interim, the answer to that question is none of my friends were denied that job.
