From what I have seen..Johnson Central will be really good this year. I could be wrong, but they look better than last year.

What have you heard or seen that has caused you to drop Anderson Co. 5 spots? Just wondering since all I've heard since last season was how good they are going to be this year. Also, did Madisonville-North Hopkins move into your top 10 after watching them at the 7v7 in Hopkinsville?

Anderson Co lost their top RB (Collins) to transfer. They will still be very good and I may have dropped them too much. Time will tell.
I've heard from a trusted friend that MNH is going to be really good. But I have them on a short leash.

They'll be very good.....but I'm not convinced they'll be as good as last years squad. That one was a dandy for sure

So what about the district with Scott, Holmes, Harrison, Rowan and Boyd? Who's the favorite there? Any of those teams able to make any noise? I know Rowan and Boyd Co have been a mess for years....but what about Scott? Harrison?

Harrison Co was around .500 last season and 0-10 in 2017.

I cant wait for the Boyle County vs Johnson Central game (if it happens). You talking about a slugfest! If it does happen, I would put my money on the Rebels by 10.

Does JC have turf or grass?
If turf....I like our chances.
If grass....much closer.

Don't take this out of context FoSho but the finesse game Boyle played last year could hurt them again in a game with Johnson, not saying they can't beat them but i'd hate to lay money on either team. That being said when we played Boyle in 17" there wasn't much finesse about them their line was BIG and I mean BIG so who knows both teams should be really good I'm just ready for some football already baseball sucks...……..

Not sure why you quoted me but was talking to FoSho, but anyway, the Boyle County team we played last year was anything but "finesse".

I'm not sure a Chuck Smith team has ever been called "finesse"? We were very vulnerable last year vs Corbin because of injuries. No excuses on the loss but the fact is we weren't anywhere near 100% in the semis.
I think this season will be a totally different animal. Time will tell.

I was talking to you but didn't want FoSho to read it and take out of context...I used finesse for a lack of a better term...I'll just go to bed before I stick my foot in my mouth any further best of luck this season...â¦..:flush:

It's all good buddy! I'm not pissed at all. You guys beat our ass, no two ways about it. We were a very good passing team last year and a decent running team. That is without question. Partly because of injuries and partly because our line was simply not good enough at times. I'm confident we will be a different team this season.

Nah, your good my friend. I thought I'd said something to get you going. I hope the JC/Boyle game happens. If it does, it could quite possibly be the best game of the year in Kentucky. Those two teams are two of Kentucky's powerhouses. If they end up playing, do yall know yet where it would take place?

The rotation had it @Boyle but since that went away, it'll depend on some stupid rankings. It'll be regional finals or semi state. I honestly think we'll be undefeated but don't know about them?
You get them at Belfry this year, right?

Yeah, they have to come to Pond Creek on November 1st. You let me know about CAL in week 5 and I'll tell you everything you need to know about JC first of November. LMAO! All joking aside, I think JC may be our only regular season loss this year, but that's a 50/50 toss up. Wouldn't shock me at all to see the Pirates pull out the win in the season finale on Pond Creek. It's hard for anyone to come to Belfry on a Friday night and win. Doesnt happen very often.

Lol! pj hates everyone. No need to be sorry about anything brother. You are one of my favorite to talk/debate with on here. And I've always been a fan of your Hounds. Good luck to you guys, no doubt it will be another fun and successful year in Houndtown!

When did you watch these teams play?

Anderson Co since 3rd grade thru 2016 - played them.
LexCath since middle school - played them.
Wayne Co 2017 & 2018 - played them.
Knox Central - haven't, just what I've heard and what they have returning.
Any other questions?

Basically guaranteeing two of the following teams will play in Rd 3...Boyle Co, Corbin, Johnson Central with location being the only unknown.

Pretty close to the original plan, I believe their first proposal had seeding beginning in round four.

You should just worry about if your Tomcats will actually show up this time if they draw the Pirates and not forfeit again. These seniors are that 8th grade team yall refused to play. We'll need that tune up game before going into the championship.
