Number 4 ranked team in WV class AA taking on the number 1 ranked team in KY class A.
This one will be much closer then most people think, with both teams matching each other score for score. Mingo has been chomping at the bit for years to get a shot at Belfry or Pikeville, so they will be ultra hyped for this one. This starts a two year series of border bragging rights, as Mingo Central gets there shot at Belfry next year. Those that have lived or grew up on the border of Pike Co and Mingo Co knows just how deep this goes. Truly a Hatfield and Mccoy slug fest.

I donât think Mingo will be the only one hyped for this one. The young men on the Kentucky side have heard all these years since Mingo Central was started how they could handle these Kentucky teams. Well we are about to see. This could be one of the great game atmosphere in the area for awhile. Kind of reminds me of the old days of Williamson and Belfry. The talk of the area but mostly for us posters. To the young men playing itâs one game on the schedule that leads your team to the goals you set for your team at the start of the year. Hope for an injury free game for all teams participating in the Pike County Bowl but as always GO PANTHERS!!!

Iâll be more than shocked if the game is this close. If MC scores 43 points.....then Pikeville will put up 70. Panthers are too athletic for MC.

I am SO excited for this game. Since my senior year in 2012, we've hoped to be a part of this EXCELLENT tradition in Eastern Kentucky and we're absolutely blessed to have this opportunity. What the PCB does for all our local schools is awesome. Looks like the weather is gonna be great and I'm simply praying for that 1st game not to go to 3OT again this year lol. If some of the fellow BGR folks are at the game, come introduce yourself... would love to meet ya'. I'll probably be the only person on the sideline wearing a little bit of both MCHS and PHS. (Had to rep both teams I get to do work with!)

Pikeville fans will be eating "crow" on this one. Mingo Central by 3 touchdowns. Pikeville will not stop their quarterback or receivers.

Ah Winky, I will take the 21 points and Pikeville how much is the wager? No I wonât I donât bet but I doubt that very seriously but it could happen. If I was a betting man this bet is closest think to a sure bet I seen in a long time. I will say that Mingo Central definitely has a great quarterback and receivers but Pikevilleâs isnât no slouch either. Plus I do think Pikeville has a good running game. The line of scrimmage is going to be the key here and if Pikeville can get any pressure on Mingo Centralâs quarterback. That didnât so much in the last game against Bardstown but good luck to Mingo Central but as always GO PANTHERS!!!
