I agree, Ashland is always tough! I do think they lost a lot this year though, and Zander Carter was awesome! I forget the name of that other senior that was really good too so both was a big loss! Boyd still has Spurlock and it sounds like maybe a few other transfer new good players? So will they sneak up on Ashland this year?

No, they will not sneak up on A-Town. Will they win a game or two that's very possible. Ashland will be prepared for battle no doubt. But if we are gambling here all odds will be on ASHLAND to win the 16th region in 2026.

Boyd and Russell are set to outperform Ashland this year. Boyd is likely to secure the clear #1 spot and dominate the district and region in 2025-2026, even with Ashland adding a few players from Huntington. The bigger question is whether Ashland will actually start an Ashland player. Lyons might have a shot if Davis doesn’t play. If Davis does play, the lineup could feature 1 Russell player, 1 South Point player, and 3 Boyd County players, with Lyons and Owens possibly coming off the bench.

I think he’s at Boyd now. Don’t know why they make a big deal over him. Not a very good basketball player. Super athlete but not much of a basketball player.

He is at Boyd, that's why I was saying no way Russell is the 2nd best team without him. And I'm not sure Id agree on the "not a very good basketball player", he averaged 14.8 PPG, 7.2 RPG as a Sophomore.

I've heard he's coming to BC, but nothing has been confirmed yet. He's an excellent basketball player, arguably one of the best in the region, and I'd even say the best in his class.
I think Russell and Ashland would be an evenly matched game on a neutral court. Russell has size and likely the best shooter between the two teams. Ashland, on the other hand, is more athletic and has a deeper bench with the addition of the player from Huntington. I believe the point guard matchup will be the deciding factor. From what I’ve heard, the current Russell point guard managed to shut down the former point guard who is now playing for Ashland.

Ashland is the favorite until someone beats them. Boyd still has the same Coaching and daddy problem. They have their transfer dads running around looking for apartments telling people that they just need an address. They will be under investigation before the season starts and the hypocrite dad is to blame. The KHSAA has already been made aware or the cheating and the house of cards will fall. Ashland Tomcats win #8.

BC is the favorite to win the Region this year. It's surprising that the KHSAA took no action against Ashland's program after they were caught recruiting area players twice. The BC coaching staff and the "daddy" often mentioned deserve credit, as they've coached more kids at Ashland than the actual Ashland staff. Davis, CC, and Smith were all coached by the very people often criticized by you and KYJELLY. Deboard was the main reason for that Region as well.

Does Ashland have kids that have transferred in for basketball? Yes
Does Boyd Co have kids that have transferred in for basketball? Yes
I'm not sure how that can be used against each other at this point.

Sounds like another delusional attempt to deflect the real truth. Ashland has been caught twice actively recruiting kids on a call and video. That is the truth. Not a psychotic episode of your typical rants.
Coach Anderson would not lower himself to go after other teams kids like past and current staff APB has demonstrated.
We are not talking about transfers. We are talking about actively recruiting players. Huge difference.

Ashland let that coach go and it is in the past. Does not reflect Ashland at all. They done the right thing. You are as guilty as that coach after the SP kid you brought in last season and the 3 this year. Like I said Hypocrite. Wear it. You deserve it.
The entire world knows your coach at the time begged and offered that kid money and everything else to come Ashland as well as other players he admitted to trying to get. They did not do the right thing. I heard the KHSAA forced them to do something. Again, read the paper.
Check your roster. You have kids from BC,SP,Russell, Huntington and not one kid from Ashland will start again this year. So please reframe from the name calling. Hearing the Smith kid is coming back to BC. If Smith and Rimmer show up this week to BC or in the near future. I want to hear you cry some more about other teams getting players.

It seems like you might be experiencing some mental health challenges or delusions right now. It’s important to consider seeking mental health support or assistance.

Would someone be so kind to post the transfers that Ashland has gotten this offseason? I asked a specific person before & have gotten no response. I haven’t paid attention all summer & just curious who the new players are. I’ve seen accusations here about a new kid from Huntington but I can’t find anything to verify it.

This summer you received/recruited Owens from Huntington. Neal from Russell. Smith, Clark, and Davis from BC and Hughes from South Point. Current roster.
Randy Anderson would never go recruit a kid. Known the man for over 20 years and he has never had the reputation of such actions done by APB coaching staff. Present and past. Coaching staff caught red handed with video and audio. If that is people you reference losing respect. I don’t think anyone in the state of KY respects that opinion or that crying of wolf. I am sure KYjelly and Appypuss could have clarified that for you!
