Shelby Valley will win this by atleast 2 touchdowns. Valley is way more talented this year and I think they showed in the PC game that, not only can they hang around in a shootout, like the Matewan game, but they can win a defensive battle too. Valley rolls in this one.

From what I've read, and heard Shelby Valley should win this game by a decent margin. But you never know.

Wasnt the same thing said about the PCC game?
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It is the size of the fight in the dog.

I think the thing about the PCC game was this. Last year Merchant had around 370 yards on them. And I would say they were more focused during the weak on stopping him and Varney than scoring. I think this week they will go back to what worked against Midland Trail, because that looked to be a very good team playing in that game.

Valley wont roll big in anything, East Ridge went up against, a great offensive team in the Gilbert Lions, and for the most part of the game kept it within contention, the Warriors just became tired with all the running they do.... and most of the Varsity players who are decent, couldnt go both ways and play snap for snap, Ratliff is gonna have to change something up if he thinks hes gonna have a chance at keeping Valley in contention, maybe this time there wont be fight, trust me.... lets try to keep all the anger on the sidelines, and use it on the field Eh? but Valley by 2 points no thanks to Caleb Epling and Tommy Bingham....

If Valley focuses, I say Valley by 12. Valley's defense was good last night on stoping Varney and Merchant, but their offense basically sucked. If their offense was like it was last night, it'll be another close one in which Valley might not be so lucky.

wavefan Wrote:well, since your gonna drag it outta me.....Well i guess you seen that ER couldn't stop the offense of PC and that Valley did...they held them to scoring 6 points when ER let them score 28 points on them...so yeah i think that even though Valley's offense didn't do to good of a job against PC yesterday that if the same SV shows up they will still win...your giving ER(1-3) a little to much credit when the only team they have beat is South Floyd(2-3)

records dont mean much if you have the heart, and the whole ER lettin PC have 28 points was early on in the season,PC let ER have 20+ points in the county bowl and held SV to 12. if i was from either of these schools, id definately make the trip to the hill to watch this game.

Was the score anything like the Valley faithfull was predicting?? I didnt say Valley wasnt going to win... I just asked if it was predicted that Valley would have killed PCC. Facts is, Valley really didnt beat PCC, PCC beat theirselfs...

Was at this game and I agree PCC beat PCC.
I've heard that mistake had been made before but never seen it until last night. Was in shock.
But the Newsome Kid for Valley is gonna rock in the future.

Valley will win. It will still be a good game though, maybe not because of tough competition but because of the great rivalry between the teams.

Valley wins big. More talent, better team. Easy pick
