SC IS GONNA WALK ALL OVER VALLEY, EAST RIDGE if they would play a second half worth watching would have beaten Shelby Valley, and NYY10 Valley wont roll down to SC and come out with a win, they wont even come out with a close game

EVEN though this thread is NOT about the Phelps/SV game... I have to ask 1 thing... since everyone keeps comparing it to that...... Are you saying that Shelby Valley is as good OR better than Pikeville?? Granted, SV handed Phelps something that they have used this year as a focal point! I bet if they did play again it wouldn't be the same score! Not even close!! shelby Valley probably does have a great ballteam for the amount of kids that they have out. I am NOT taking anything from them but.... you can't compare a team now to what they were 5 or 6 weeks ago. They have had A LOT more practice and games to work on their wrongs. Good luck to SV on the rest of their season..... losing 2 games, (OOPS>.. I mean 1) game is definalty something to be proud of!!!

No I'm just saying that Phelps wouldn't still beat Valley, IMO Pikeville is better than Valley. And the score would still be close to what it was anyway. But anyway Valley lost there starting center in this game and Johnson is gone for the season. But, I think they can really rebound from these loses and still impress.

What is all the talk with the 4 seconds... the game isnt over untill the final buzzer goes off. Sometimes teams lose without having any time on the clock. I thought the game lasted from opening kickoff to final buzzer. 4 seconds, 4 minutes... the team with the most points when the final buzzer is sounded is the team that wins the game, well, usually that is. We found out this year that isnt always the case.

Well then agian I must say why is everyone keep bringing up the matewan game. If you all can keep bringing up that I can keep bringing up the 4 seconds. I know that Valley lost to Matewan in 4 seconds and I know the game isn't over until the last buzzer. But all I was saying that Valley had nothing handed to em. They played there hearts out the left everything they had on the field. If you get beat 79-6 you get your butts handed to you. But I want to comend all you Valley Players on a job well done. Take this loss with you on the road to SC and show all the haters and non-belivers what we all know you can do.

And yet another man calling a coach an idiot for caring and arguing disputable calls. So eveyr coach who has ever recieved a flag is an idiot? Coach Saunders is a wonderful coach. NO matter what any one else says. The kids love him, the parnets love him and by far he has done what he is there to do win. He has installed pride in the valley. Somethign that hasmnt been there in a while. The fans and kids no longer go into any game thinking they will lose. They have an attitue that they will win every game, no matter who they are playing. Which is a wonderful thing to have. And people may say gah you need to quit drinking the coach saunders kool-aide. But they way I see it keep filling my cup up cause Im am gonna keep on chuggin that stuff cause he has proved me he is a well disiplined coach and he wants to win!!!!!!!!!!
