LASIK eye surgey?

Has anyone had LASIK eye surgery or know anyone who has? If so could you please share your experiences, whether you would have it done again and where you had it done. I am considering having the procedure but not sure where to have it done and what to expect. Any help is appreciated!

I have looked at the Commonwealth Eye Surgery (Dr. Ferguson) and TLC in Northern KY but haven't heard of Tri State Opthalmology.

I know lots of people in Pikeville that travel to Lexington to Abell Eyes...Dr Abell has been performing Lasik surgery for years and is considered one of the best, not just in the state but in the country. He did one of my best friends, great job, he even now does a radio testimonial for him.

I have had 2 brothers that have had this operation. One had it done in Louisville, and the other in Charleston. I cant recall their doctors names, but both can see better then me. One of my brothers vision was something like 20/400 and now it is better then 20/20. Well worth it IMO.

Three friends of mine have had the procedure done. I will ask them as soon as possible who their doctor was.
