Vacation 2007? Where are you going?

Vacation 2007, what does everyone have in mind?

In June the wife and I will be headed to Palm Beach Florida for a week on Singer Island. We hope to eat some gator while there. Then in October, we will be headed back to Orlando for a week of kid fun. What places will the BGRâs family be seeing this year?

What part of California are you going to? We went to Palm Springs CA in 2006! We enjoyed it and it was very different.

I dont know yet, I think some where near San Jose or some were around there.

Probably towards Myrtle Beach in mid June then to Orlando in October. Going to take the kids to Universal studios if we get the chance. Then sometime during the summer we take a weekend trip of a Reds game and a day at Kings Island. Then around Halloween I hope to make it to Kings Island for fear fest. Without the kids.

In June I will be in Richmond, VA studying!!!! Then from July 20 - Thanksgiving I will be in Australia "studying". Should be a great time. But that is my vacation.

I miss going to Myrtle Beach every summer. Haven't been in a while, but I'd like to able to go this year.

Anderson, Indiana to Hoosier Park to watch my horse race a few times...
Owensboro and Clearwater in June
Myrtle Beach in July
Go to a few Reds games and maybe to see the Braves in Atlanta
and I would say a few more places

Boston..Got Yankess and Red Sox tickets and staying in Boston for 9 days! Going to see 4 games while vacationing. BASEBALL/BASEBALL/BASEBALL!

I have NO idea yet. I would love to go to the beach but I'll have to see if I can make rent before planning to go anywhere.

I'm going to be in class and working all summer sooo....me and my family hasn't taken a vacation in like 4 years. I have my fingers crossed to go to either Tampa or San Antonio in the next year or two.

I'll be making the road trip to Daytona Beach this summer and probabily everywhere in between. Probabily stay for 2 weeks. I may go to Gatlinburg also, in Tennessee.

I don't know if this qualifies as a vacation or not but I'm taking a fishing trip to Cave Run for abot a week also, just a little something I'm looking foward to as well.

Charleston, SC is really nice. It has a different feel to it than Myrtle Beach.

Myrtle Beach during the last full week of June..the weather is PERFECT at the end of june.

last year, we went during the first week of August and it was over 100 degress every day! bluck. it was awful.

Me and my family use to go to Myrtle Beach every summer until about 3 years ago and it got to where I hated it. It was the same thing every summer and trust me theres only so much you can do and see time after time before it gets BORING!

i must disagree. my family has also went to myrtle beach every year since i was born [give and take a summer or two] and i still love it! i guess it must depend on the things you like to do personally. my family and i spend almost all day out on the beach and then go out on the town during the night. i love it!

i'm sorry that you've been drowned out on the beach--the only part i hate about it is that lonnnnnng drive in the backseat of the car. bluck!

The drive to the beach sucks, badly. I went last summer during the week of the 4th of July. I could never get burnt out on going to the beach, it's all in what you do. It's different going now than when I was younger because the clubs are there and things of that nature when you want to do that, water sports, etc. etc.

Well you disagree about something with someone, I will disagree with you on something, lol but I actually like the ride down there, but thats just me I like to travel. Its about 9 hours give or take from where I am to Myrtle Beach. I will also agree with you that there is so much to do and your family sounds about like mine, spend all day having fun in the sun, then come night time go out and about on the town. Man I cant wait to go!!!!!!!
