Looks awesome! I love the very end where the girl comes out of the door and Micheal pulls her back in.

Definite must see for me. I am an avid horror movie fan.

Might be good, and Rob Zombie's psycho enough to make it good, but remakes rarely are as good as the originals

Very true.
I also hope that it isnt as gorey as the other movies he has directed in the past. Halloween wasnt a gorey movie at all, just flat out scarey as h***.

And the fact that it was produced with low-quality cameras and not a lot, if any, high-tech stuff made it that much more appealing as a dark and scary movie, you won't have that this time around.

Very true. I really hope that he does not disgrace the classic that is Halloween.

I also hope he does the original justice. I do like Rob's films though.

I like Rob's movies, especially Devils Rejects, could watch it over and over again. I just wish people would leave the classics alone. This is what is so wrong with Hollywood today, they cant think of anything original anymore so they remake old movies. I will watch it but the first time I see something I dont like i will quit watching.

This actually isn't a full remake guys, its a "re-imaging". Possibly 30 mintues of the beginning will be Mike as a kid, showing how he is overcome by darkness. The rest will be a much much more in depth look at what went on when he escaped, how he escaped, and so forth.

I would call that a remake. To me unless it is following the original story line then it is a remake. TCM for example is a remake. Same movie but different information given.
Whether it is a remake or not I am interested in seeing the final product and what kind of spin Rob Zombie will put on the classic.

I like the Halloween series, I'm looking forward to it. I just wonder why it's not coming out in October?

My wife and I discussed this the other day. It needs to come out around Halloween. I think it would do better if it came out then.

could possibly already be some big expected blockbuster movies coming out then and they are afraid that will hurt its chances of being successful
