Prestonsburg Getting Synthetic Turf
#1
They've been taking donations from the public and should have it done by August or sooner. IMO, its about time, cause we havn't had a decent field since '02 or '03.
#2
Last time I played there there was a big green hole of water in the middle of the field...lol

Was it the Shelby Valley game?
#4
So they will have the turf this upcoming season? Good to see my hard earned money I donated go for a good cause.
#5
Any chance we can get a good defensive coordinator to go with that new turf...lol
I know James very well and I love aggrivating him. I tell him all the time he sucks, because he does.
#6
Cant wait for this to happen.
#7
Seems as if there is a huge trend towards converting to the synthetic stuff...i love the turf at Pikeville/Belfry/Shelby Valley

The last time he played at their field.

Yeah my bad, I should've made a quote.
#13
i thought they had a better field then some i saw this yea imo sc has the worst field around.
#14
Their field isnt horrible, when it doesn't rain its very nice, just dont hold water well.
SC field is horriable.
#15
I agree I think SC is in need of turf more than prestonsburg but I think they will get it soon also.
#16
There are so many games played on Josh Francis field in any one season between varsity, jv, freshmen, and grade school, its hard to up-keep grass. Prestonsburg may not have it by this season, but they will for sure have it by 2008.

turf sucks

JCHS will be putting down turf on there new field that should be ready to play on in the fall as well. Turf may suck but it's the trend right now in the Mountains.
