East Carter just doesn't have enough firepower to compete with the upper chelon teams for 4 Quarters. if they had 3 or 4 more kdis liek teh Carroll kid they would eb tough.

Russell should win goign away, but if the Devils play uninspired and East can make that clock run quick and force every posession to count, thye could be in the game late with the help of turnovers.

I wish them well but Ft Campbell was guaranteed to make it to the carpet in 05 based on their play and got put out early. This deep in the year you never know what will happen.

I would love nothing more than to beat both Mason Co and Breathitt Co on Ivan McGlone Field. Neither of those teams have played on that field since it was named after Ivan.

East Carter shouldn't be a problem unless Russell doesn't take them seriously. They have some atheletes that can score on you, but I think after the beating they took from Belfry Russell should roll pretty easy. I know I keep saying it but, this would be a great opportunity for Cordle to get some PT under center.

As Midee1 indicated we could see some surprises in the playoffs. Don't under estimate playoff teams. Every player who walks on the field knows that could be there last game. Thus they put up there best effort. East can put good quarters together, we have seen that over the years. Put four together on a cool November night and what do you get? UPSET. It can happen. Ask Ft. Campbell in 2005. It may not have been that big of an upset but Russell was not the favorite in 2006 against Belfry. Belfry was picked to win that game.

That game (if we make it that far and they do as well) will be at the HANK. Round 4 (Semi-state) would be are only road game in the playoffs.

Yeah, Both will make it, gonna be a tough road in the playoffs for Russell, most likely 3 really good teams in a row.
