WKYT is reporting a chance of snow on Christmas Day and then snow showers the day after Christmas. Any of you weather guys see this happening?

That would be very nice to see a White Christmas. How long has it been since we've seen one around here?

Models are mixing between snow showers and a snow storm. One run of the models will show a huge storm, then the next model will show snow showers. So the chance of at least snow showers is looking good. With the way the models are going, I'd say the chance for a snow storm will be a couple of days after Christmas, but it looks to be a similar setup as the storm we just got finished with over the past weekend. Still have a few more days to figure this out.

Well, they actually have. The track it what is tough to tell, and we're a long ways off before models will be able to pick up a track.
the last storm was seen for 15 days in advance. Do you not think thats accurate? And do you honestly think that the track of the storm can be nailed down to a 50 mile window?
The models get more and more accurate, year after year when it comes to predicting precipitation, the problem though... is track.
