Ilove the effort put in to improve Belfry's schedule. The Pirates should easily have the 2nd best schedule in 3A, 2nd only to Louisville Central.

Belfry may go 7-3 or even 6-4, but the added competition will surely make thema better team come playoff time.

yes very glad to see them strength the schedule,not looking for a perfect season,but a championship....,although perfect season would be nice but what has that done for thm the last 2 yrs...

Ya i played with your son on his 8th grade team. He and a few more who are moving up are all great football players. But don't get me wrong hes an absoultly outstanding football player.

you are right he cant do it by himself,there is NO i in TEAM,there are alot of good players on that team,if you thought i was saying it was all about blake,4give because thats truly not the case,but some of those boys thought if blake wasnt playing then they wasnt going to win and i told them thats not the case..

Two thumbs way up for this schedule.

The better competition will really pay off come playoffs and the games should make excellent spectating for the fanbase.

Yes and no...

It is a regular season game, but it is being played in Week 0. The Pirates and Blackcats took advantage of a new KHSAA rule where you can choose to play in Week 0 if you give up a scrimmage.

If Belfry goes undefeated against this schedule in the regular season then they will be the favorite to win 3A. The only 3A school with a tougher schedule this season in Lou. Central. Whitley County ad Johnson Central will each be Top 10 5A teams, Pburg will be a top 10 2A team, Pikeville a Top 10 1A team, and Ashland and LCC are no slouches.

I agree, but I think they have a good chance. I am by no means saying they will, but I like the possibility.

You're absolutely dreaming......

Belfry will not "reload" this year. They've got some nice talent.....but the overall lack of experience and size will be a hinderance.

Sheldon Clark should be the prohibitive district favorite.

I say the will lose somewhere between 1-3 regular season games. I look for belfry to be continding for louisville
