I'm glad we have the freedom of religion as well. If you don't want to accept Jesus as savior of your life, you don't have to. Yet, you should understand the consequences of your decision. God didn't send his son just because he can, but he sent Jesus to die on the cross for us to save us a lot of pain for the future.

Get off his back.
The more you talk like that, the further you push him away.
If he chooses not to believe, then you have to accept that and pray that he changes his mind.

AMEN. Best post so far. The same happened to me for many years. I stayed away because of people telling me that I was wrong for no going to church. He will accept God if/when he is ready, not because people will tell to believe in God. In the mean time keep praying.

I can respect that, But for me I look at all these things and think god is truly amazing. Like I said its hard for me to comperhend that some people do not believe in god. I am not on here to judge you or anyone else. The one good thing about this life is we get to choose how we live it!!! God does not force us to believe in him, he said behold I stand at the door and knock if any man hear my voice and OPEN THE DOOR I will come in and will sup with him and he with me.( REV, CHAPTER 3 VERSE 20) This does not say we have to open the door so he wont force us. and by the same token christians should not try to force their beliefs on some one with diffrent beliefs.

I definitly believe in God and Jesus Christ as our lord and savior. To see some of things that have happend at the church I go to, it's hard not to believe. The Lord's presence at our church and my life is amazing and I'm thankful everday for it.

The great thing about God is when we do wrong he is there for us. The feeling you get once you are saved and you are one of God's children is by far the best feeling one can get. No one is perfect, but Christians are forgiven. God didn't have to forgive us but he does. As bad as this world treats him, and refuse to accept his existence is mind blowing. As for any out there who doesn't believe him, I do say this. It takes a great deal of faith to believe that everything out there came from a gaseous belch billions of years ago. If I took my watch and busted it with a hammer. I then take my watch and put it in a sack and shook it for a billion years. What is the chance that the watch once I pulled it out and looked at it is ticking and is on time. Only God can keep these things in this earth in order. I for one can't wait till the rapture, and I for one can't wait till I meet God, and thank him for every blessing that he has given me. People don't realize how many blessings everyone of us have daily. Waking up, having family and friends, food on the table, and clothes on our back. I could go on and on. Please fellow Christians pray for me and my family, and I will pray for the non believers in here. One day every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess.

You son, have got a great head on your shoulders.
You hit the nail on the head with every point. You haven't really ever said much with your posts, so I didn't know you could stretch the point across like this.
Back to your post. I as well, am excited to meet God and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I will be praying for you CougarPride and I'm sure many other believers will join in.
GOD IS REAL MY FRIENDS!! Like it or not.

GOD is like the wind. Sometimes a comforting and gentle breeze to relieve you from the heat. Sometimes a violent gale force that is there to remind us whos really in charge when we get too big for our britches. You cant see it but you feel its power and know its prescence. I guess why so many people have trouble believing in GODs exitence is that they havent opened there heart to him and therefore can only go on what they see.

Until science comes up with something better i won't subscribe to it. But i also won't believe that the earth/universe was created by a supernatural being that can't be proven nor show him/herself. I feel content with just saying I don't Know. Rather than buying some bogus explanation.

All you have to do is just look around, He shows himself in so many ways, I hope someday you realize that!!!

The Constitution was also written by Christian believers who believed that God allowed them to be where they were at.
