The score was 12 to 9 PCC

Congrats PCC. Can these pitchers for PCC pitch Monday?

It depends on how many innings each of them pitched.
#15
PCC pitcher can. And Lawrence can also.PCC Goodson throwed 4, Ryan throwed 1, Boggs throwed the last 2. Goodson has to sit one day.

The truth without the homeboy hype is that there is not much difference between Paintsville, Johnson Central and Lawrence Co. in the 15th this year. This game just confirms that. Looks like a few teams in the 14th are right there as well.

Nice win Dores!!!!
#18
I am confused??? The KHSAA website has PCC and LCHS playing each other twice today, one game in Perry Co, one game in Lawrence Co. with PCC winning both games, 12-9 and 6-1. what gives?
BTW, congrats to the 'Dore's on the nice win....or 2!
#19
I've just about quit going to the KHSAA. Seems like you can get scores on here quicker.
Congrats PCC.

The Dawgs pitched two young sophmore vs ppc.
Both boys didnt play at the varsity level last season so everyone chill out...
They played a JV and a Varsity game, LC Jv won 8-0, PCC V won 12-9
Would have been a totally different game if the Dawgs would have pitched their #2 in the rotation after Shep pitched wed.

This game didnt prove anything the game was played in sloppy conditions and the Dawgs pitched to young kids that are not even in the rotation. This would have been a totally diff game if they would have went in rotation. After the they gave up 11 runs, their #2 Cody Moore came in and only gave 1 run so that should explain it all.

Dawgs still the best team in the 15th

Ahh, the old "if, coulda, woulda, shoulda excuses".

Got news for you bud, it was both teams that played in those same sloppy conditions, but one team found a way.

Again, you need to figure out a way to get back to school. Even if it means not playing ball. You need that education.

so your explanation is that this game didn't matter too much so LC threw two young kids who are not even considered pitchers in the rotation and the field was bad? baseball isn't a game of IF's, you play each day to win regardless of the opponent, sounds to me like LC thought they could rest their #2 man and still win, never under estimate an opponent.

Congrats PCC on a nice win.

Nah I think what he was trying to say is that they were trying to get there other two pitchers who hasnt pitched much on the varsity level until this year.... Our entire pitching rotation are all soph. and will only get better as the year goes along......

We lost alot off of last years team and is young with only one senior on the team..... I wasnt at the game so I can comment on the field conditions.

Congrats on the win Dores.

Both teams played on the same field. The bottom line PCC started hitting the ball hard in the gaps. Perry was on fire so the field had notthing to do with it. Lawrence has a very solid team. It was a good win for perry. #24 who started the game for LC was a good pitcher. Dont know why the coach pulled him? Good luck to Lawrence.
#28
Maybe Perry Central is better then people give them credit for. JMO
