2009 Belfry Football Schedule
cuppett777 Wrote:you will find out what kind of talent they got, the freshman team could prob beat ur var team.

They are!

Refer to bolded quote..........So by saying this, along with the many other posts about Belfry's subpar season next year, I guess you can say without a doubt that you know what Belfry has to offer next year? Correct? It must be tough to live with your head in the clouds every year only to have to experience that long fall back to earth. I hate to continue to "argue" with Recznik but the nonsense spouted from his/her mouth makes it almost unbearable to stay away. If your going to make post like "next year is the Hawks year to beat Belfry" then you had better be prepared to take some heat. Its laughable at best.

All I'm doin is stating the facts...and my opinion...what I seen last year did'nt impress me me a bit...I am curtain that coach Mac didn't know how to coach againts Belfry...Chapman does...bring it....YEAAAAAAAAAAA...get over it...

Belfry fans I would like to share a piece of advise my father gave me some years ago:

-Never debate someone with an idiotic arguement because it is a no lose situation, they will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience. Additionally, even if you are right who wants to give credit for proving an obvious fact correct?

ohoh...ok...your right Belfry will beat PC....lololol..stay in Georgia...
by the way ur advise was wrong.....lol
Past 10 years, Belfry vs. Pike Central:
Belfry 10-0.
Outscored Central 473-71.
Average Final score of 47-7 (6 TD's).
Closest score was still a 31 point victory.

I am not 100% sure a Belfry starter has even had to see the field in the 4th Quarter in ten years.

I am done with this debate.

Maybe PC should worry about beating that Pike County powerhouse Shelby Valley on a consistent basis before they worry about Belfry.
its not woth debating with someone who thinks they will beat belfry because they got a coach from breahitt...they might not beat them this year buy 6tds it just may be only 4tds...lol

look i know what Belfry has to offer....lol...I know what PC has to offer....PC by 17....TY god bless...
Belfry is just reloading this year. I hear people saying it going to a rebuilding year for them, but aslong as I have been playing Belfry has always been there. By the end of the season Belfry will once agian be in the hunt. And if PC beats Belfry by 17, that will be one of the biggest upsets of the year and maybe in the past 5 years. EKU, i loved those stats, they look pretty one sided.

Where did you get these stats at?
10 minutes of research, a calculator, and khsaa.org

bro i hate to break it to ya but if you been to a track meet pc fastest player is placing 17th in the 100 meter dash when belfrys thomas varney placed 2nd both times and trey willis a freshman placed 7th and 13th and not not to mention chase maynard and timmy lovern is rite there beside thomas belfry will suprise you they got about 7 or 8 player that would beat cody meade by about 15 yards at leastTongueirateSho TongueirateSho
It look like belfry is still only wanting to play one good team a season.
YOURTIGERBAIT Wrote:It look like belfry is still only wanting to play one good team a season.

With all due respect anyone from Ironton, Ohio trying to judge "good" Kentucky teams would be the equivolant of me trying to breakdown a game between Indian Hills vs.Princeton. I may have an idea, but it is much better to keep my mouth closed and let people who know what they are talking about address it.

Prestonsburg- Perennial 2A Powerhouse
Ashland- One of the most tradition rich programs in KY
Whitley County- 5A State Semi-Finalist, returns nearly everything
Johnson Central- Has been one of the premier 5A teams in the stat the past five years

if that happens i will personally come back to belfry or should i say pikeville since thats where you are at and take u to apple bees 4 dinner and let you tell me the whole time i told you so..

Ironton record vs belfry 12-1 vs ashland 42-28-3 ironton has won the last 19 straight. johnson central is really the only legit team they my even give my tigers a run for their money. ifin belfry every wants to be a elite program like ironton they need to schedule more teams like johnson central not like ashland or smaller prestonsburg.
Guess that breakdown is all needs to be said.
YOURTIGERBAIT Wrote:Guess that breakdown is all needs to be said.

Once again Whitley County returns everyone from last yeasr 5A State Semi-Finals team. Broaden your knowledge beyond teams just within an hour of Ironton.

Why would i we would beat them to.
YOURTIGERBAIT Wrote:Why would i we would beat them to.

Keep it on topic! Who Ironton would beat has NOTHING to do with Belfry and their upcoming schedule for 2009.

Ok my bad i forgot anytime someone goes against a school in the mountians it's a no no.
why doesn't it have anything to do with it? were talking strength of schedule and ironton would beat every team on it except maybe jc and yet belfry won't play us anymore including 2009.
good luck in 09.

No, it's not a "no,no" to discuss mountain teams. That is what the site is for.... discussion!!!

BUT, it doesn't have anything to do with the thread topic. KHSAA has many different rules that each KY school must follow and I'm assuming that is why Belfry is not playing Ironton now. I do know that there has been a "damper" so to speak with the local BOE on travel of teams...... That is not for me to question as I truely do not know. I suggest that if you are really worried about it, make a call to BHS and I'm sure Coach Haywood would be glad to enlighten you on why they are not scheduled any longer. Point being, Ironton isn't on the schedule, which is already set for the upcoming season so please let's stay on topic!! Discuss WHO is on the schedule!!
