Former governor is named president of Pikeville College

Former Governor Paul Patton is the new president of Pikeville College.
Patton says the college board approved the decision Wednesday afternoon.

He will replace Doctor Michael Looney, who resigned recently due to health concerns.
Patton says he hopes to make a good school even better.

I'm the opposite of a Dem, but this isn't a political deal and is fantastic for Pikeville College IMO.

It's not really a "hire" per se, he is taking no salary.

Highly doubt he needs it, from what I've heard he plans on only being here 2 years, and bringing quick change to set a new strong base for the next President.
