Belfry Pirates
68-13 at home since '98 (including win over Boyd County last Friday).

The title of the thread was home record over the last decade. A decade is ten years. Belfry is 61-8 from 2000-2009. 2009 being the tenth year. Overall, they are 102-25 during this span. Belfry will ride a 16 game home winning streak into the matchup with Ashland this Friday.

I know a decade means 10 years, but the KHSAA site goes all the way back to 1998 for football and I threw in the '98 season as well.

I didn't mean to sound smart aleck and I tried to edit my post, but I took too long and it wouldn't let me edit it. So sorry. Actually, Belfry has a 17-game home winning streak heading into the Ashland game.
This is getting away from the title of the thread a little bit, but Belfry is in the midst of one of the best runs of winning in mountain history. If my numbers are correct, should Belfry win 7 total games in the 2009 season, they would have 108 wins during the 2000s. This would be the most wins of any decade ever in Pike County football. Pikeville had 107 wins in the 1990s. I have not forgotten about the 1980s and Pikeville, but I do not have the total number of wins they had that decade. Obviously, they had 43 during the championship run of 1987-89. If someone could post Pikeville's total for the 80s, that would be great.

I knew you would chime in EKU. Actually, you are correct. I guess I still am trying to put that game out of my mind, ha ha. Are you still coming to Pike County this weekend? Also, I believe that would make Belfry 61-9 from 2000-2009 at home. EKU can correct me if I am wrong, which is probably the case, because he knows a boatload more than me. but I try.

I will be coming to Pike County... but the GF is coming with so I will not be leaving ATL until 3 pm which means I probably won't be on Pond Creek until 10 pm. I weighed the option of watching the game (coming alone) or the fallout of not taking her once she got Friday off and chose to save my ears from permanent damage

Because I have been under the impression that it is technically a neutral game.

Russell is 56-11 since 2000 through 2009.
They had a 34 game home win streak broken in 07 by 6A Simon Kenton.
If I figured correct it's an .840 winning percentage.

You should be able to listen to most of it on your way. Gametime has been changed to 8pm.
