Not to mention.....Ashland has already played the toughest team on thier schedule. They may win the BCS now that they've FINALLY beaten Raceland.

I have studied both teams and I believe belfry will win 21 to 7.

:thatsfunn

Ashland has played the toughest team on their schedule? So you're saying Raceland is better than Ironton and Johnson Central?

I don't know what to make of Belfry, but I feel like Boyd County was very close to make that game come down to last few seconds like the Raceland game.....21-14 and the QB fumbles on the 2......that's a killer.......Makes me think Ashland might have the better team....I just think the Tomcats are solid at every position which makes them very tough to beat....other than Ironton and maybe Woodford Co. depending on what they have this year...I don't see Ashland losing more than 2.....I'll take the Tomcats

ahsland will have to play some tall d to hold belfry backfield to 10 points, id like to take a moment to comment this pirate team. Starting with p-burg, the pirate team that took the field starting the second qutr, was a better team than the team that took the field in the first, third the same way, by the start of the 4th it was a totally different team, it would have been easy for a team of less character to give up 21 to 7 at the end of one mistakes yes quit never, i didntsee anything that couldnt be fixed, if they would have quit it might have been a long season. They went down but they went down kicking and screaming, and most left with a couple handfuls of hair. I got to watch a late evening practicebefore the boyd co game. I believe they fed the o-line raw liver and gun powder before practice then had a good ole fashon gut check, i saw even more improvment in the boyd co game. Its a trend i believe ill see all season, dont count these boys out. We will win the district and be ready for a deep playoff run. Forget it sc

Another good practice down in the books today... They are improving everyday on the field. I do feel that people do not give this team credit enough because they are "small" per say... Well, evidently you haven't seen Hardin and Harlow up close.. LOL.. Yep, they're only 2 kids but every single one of those young men on the field are strong... The weight program at Belfry is the proof in the puddin if you ask me!! Smile Sometimes that smallness might just suprise you!!

Good Luck Pirates!!!

i must say i agree belfry poses a bigger scoring threat than either team this tomcat team has faced its gutcheck time for ashland and well find what this team is made of

i just got my cd today of the boyd game, its easy could ahve been 21-0 or 28-0 at half time, 1st drive ended at 5 yrd line, fuble on the snap, 2nd drive they score, 3rd drive, down to the 10 throw int,4th was deep in boyd territory, defense dwon well, but got to contain the qb better, this game wasnt as close as the score...

I think this is the type of game to where alot of people expect Ashland to win but then again in the back of thier minds arent really so sure about it. Belfry is a big mystery to alot of people right now and rightfully so. the Pirates have looked good at times and no so much at others. If Belfry can put together a few long drives and hold onto the football then I think we have a shot. I think the thing I would like to see tommorow night from the Pirates is sound tackling , we need not let Ashland break tackles, because with thier speed we wont run them down. Belfry will need thier A game tommorow night and I believe they will be ready.

Go Bucs.

On a srious note. Belfry's straight ahaead wishbone style could pose some serious problems for ashland. good power running can negate that speed advantage Ashland has. Remember Belfry has been running the wishbone a lot longer than Greenup has and they are very good at it. I won't make a prediction but I believe it will be close.

Turn Left at the Pikeville Walmart intersection, the exit will be labled Meta/Williamson, once you make the left at the intersection it is a straight shot on US 119 to CAM Stadium.

It's going to be a great night for highschool football. I plan on arriving at CAM around 6:30. Maybe I'll find a couple of you before the game. Good luck to both teams and everyone have a safe trip.

I have family that live in that area and it would probably be better for you to drop down to louisa and go through fort gay, wv to route 52. follow 52 to us 119 south. go south on 119 about 10 miles and the school will be on your left just after you pass walmart... probably cut 30 minutes off your trip.
