I look for the Pirates to get the win. Their young experience is making strides and will start paying off.

I actually believe the pirates will get the victory in this one, it will be close but I think they will be patient and in the second half pull this one out. The earlier road test against prestonsburg will pay off in this one.

This should be a GREAT game, and i think it could go both ways easily, i think it is going to come down to who plays all 4 quarters without taking any plays off. Both teams need to come out Fired up and ready to play ball and both teams need to be wanting to bring that big W home. Goodluck to both teams but i say Pirates will come out with the win, After losing 2 in a row.!

I thought Belfry won last week against Boyd County.

I like the Pirates in this one as well. They have had a couple of tough losses already and I think Varney and the troops will be ready to this coming Friday.

Middlesboro (0-3)

Hazard (1-1)- with a win over 1-1 Leslie County

Belfry is 1-2 and has played

with a loss to Prestonsburg (3-0) with wins over Belfry and Breathitt county in Jackson

won over 4A Boyd County

lost to 5A Ashland Blazer (3-0) by two points

I'll take Belfry by 14 in this one!!!

One program on the rise and one at the top who is struggling. Sounds like game of the week probability. This one will be a burner for sure if both units are clicking. I am stoked we are hosting such a great program in Belfry! Hope this match-up is not our last as i feel both teams can help each other well into the future!!

I believe it is a two year contract and LCC goes to Belfry next year.

I'm going to take Belfry, by about 10. If our secondary shows up, we could be burning up. But if they play weak that QB of LCC (name, please?) will pick us apart. Should be a good game.
