That will be a long time for you to wait. They both have to get there first.
#7
Well I'll be - Prestonsburg got one first place vote in this poll as well.
#8
Rockcastle 13th in 4A? At least the WYMT had us in the top ten for the entire mountain region. Hopefully a win Friday will vault the Rock up a little.

The second place 3A team has 2 losses? I know they are good but they haven't proven it on the field yet this season!

Whitley is better than 8th in 5A, but who do you drop to move them up? 5A looks good this season!

Berea got votes????
#9
I'd like to see P-burg add Corbin to their schedule. Both are hard nosed football teams and have great traditions. I think it would be fantastic to see the two play each other sometime other than the playoffs.

They're 2-0 and there are fools who vote for these things. Some voters just look at records and fill out the ballot. Others know alittle about football.
5 TD's
:yikes::USAFlag:
That's alot:eyeroll:

True! You have to play the game!

Allen Central #8 in the state(A). I never thought I'd live to see that. They may be better than some people are giving them credit for. This has to boost their confidence a little.

Yeah I had to laugh at Berea getting votes. Pineville just killed them and Pineville got 0 votes. Some people that vote must not know nothing about high school football nor get out enough to watch some different teams.

I also agree Whitley Co is better than 8th place in 5A too.

1A boggles my mind. KCD? Thier only win is over Eminence! Bishop Brossart?? C'mon, this is just getting sad.:please:
#19
Wasn't Bryan Station 5A last year. Way did they move up to 6A.
#20
Is Mayfield back. If they are, don't over look them coming out of the west. #6 or #7 all time with state titles, They know how to win.
#21
Letcher Central at #5 in 5A is a little high IMO...we'll see how they do against an improving Belfry squad. Gotta prove themselves against good competition.

LOUISVILLE CENTRAL would beat anybody in the mountains, they came to madsionville in preseason, and there just about as good as the last 2 yrs that they won state, they play diffcult teams every year, and will be there at the end..
#24
Louisville Central play better teams, then what the mountains teams play. That is way they will be realdy when the playoffs start. I don't see Breathitt or Belfry can beat them, unless Central have a bad game that day.

It would be a great game to add but they shouldnt add a team they could possibly face later on in the playoffs. I rather see a team once than twice year especially if you beat them earlier in the year and they are a good team themselves.

I am an LCC fan and I agree. Whitley County should be rated higher at this time. Belfry game will be the first true test on how good Letcher Central is.

Murray has been playing pretty good this year they deserve the number 5 spot but i think if they keep winning they should atleast move to number 3 but if corbin, prestnsbrg, or green county looses a game murray should be considerd for the number 2 spot.

Letcher Central had a very good test last week in Hazard. They have Letcher all they wanted and more. This game with Belfry will also be a test for them as it should be if they can stop the ground and pound game.
