I think the cards are catching JC at a bad time but would not be surprised if the cards put a whipping on JC. Hager can coach as well as matney.
Naw, I can think of a lot of things that are worse. Personally I think a fan getting on message boards, trashing their own coaches, players and administration when things aren't going so well, is a heck of a lot worse. I have heard that there are guys like that out there. Then when their team starts doing better, they brag and brag and brag!!!
What's your thoughts on guys like that? I knew of one, once upon a time.
Since you are the judgement passer tonight, wondering what your views are on that too? How about an unaldulterated conclusion here?

So SC has no players in any sport that has come to Inez to play at anytime due to fact that they want or wanted to play for a certain coach? Hard to believe!:please:

Your right. I was wrong. I wish a certain player played for the cardinals. Any kid has to do what is best for him. I think the kid im talking about is one great kid and a great player. I cant imagine central starting out 0-4 but it could happen.

Be good to everyone and their is no problems. When a family member gets treated what you thinks is unfair you can say something really stupid things. Im sorry i did.

I saw jj jude make 40 tackles in a game when he was in about the 6th grade. I worked with his dad at martiki. If not for a knee injury he would have been heard about earlier. How is his knee? He is a heck of a wrestler too and wouldnt be surprised if is isnt a straight a student.

Great wrestler and football player but an even better kid. His knee is fine and from what i hear is a smart hardworking student.

Catwoman you and Mr. Kimball are about to make me cry. But seriously this is how it should be on here. Opinions are great but no need going on and piling on a team when their down. Now if everyone can remember that on Friday nights.
As for this game I think JC gets the win.

Upset?
Is no one considering the quality of competition JC has played coming right out of the gate? Especially with a bunch of young kids, throw in key injury's, two deaths of coaches mothers just as the season started, and suspensions to compound the start.
I think that everyone's thoughts on a lot of teams can maybe be traced to the performance of one single team. Perhaps Breathitt Co. is just not as good as everyone thought they might be. Thus, with the high expectations of Breathitt, maybe Sheldon Clark is over rated just a tad, as is Lawrence just because they beat SC. Pburg was also not expected to be as strong as what they are not perceived to be. Could that be another example of Breathitt not being as good as advertised? Or does it say that PBurg is better? Could it be that the team that some tabbed as the pinnicle and compared everyone else to is just plain and simply overrated. Perhaps it just shows that Bell and Boyle are just on a different level than everyone else. Ironic that JC played both of them and everyone else has not played those types of teams. I think a lot will be answered with the SC/JC matchup. If SC beats JC handily then that will put current thoughts and rankings in a percieved proper perspective. BUT, if JC handles SC in a dominating fashion, perhaps that would lead to credence of my former statement, that it all points back to my theory that perhaps Breathitt was not the right team to be used as a bench mark, and that all thoughts on several teams are derived from the TRICKLE DOWN EFFECT of Breathitt's dismal start. Anyone with thoughts and opinions on that?

I wanted to go back and rephrase a few things , but the edit time is just so short. It's more or less impossible to correct things that you want to correct if you dont catch them almost instantly after you post.

Great post! Some people just look at wins and losses and not the level of competition a team is playing. I still think that by Halloween this could be a very scary team heading into the playoffs.

I will make no prediction. I know very little about JC, other than they are 5A.
And since SC is a small 3A, it would seem logical that JC would be favored.
However, I am cognizant of the fact that only eleven players are on the field at any given time. Thus, maybe SC can give them a game.
Moreover I have wonder what the logic is from SC's perspective is by scheduling a 5A school? Obviously I do not have a clue.
Since I am a Sheldon Clark fan, I certainly hope that they can upset JC, but the odds, I do not think, are in their favor. But as I have posted a few times, games are decided on the field, not by predictions.
Let's hope for a good game, injury free for both teams.
