Best kicker in EKY?
#1
Got to be Middlesboro's Patrick Knuckles , most of his kick offs sail through the end zone and he can hit FG's consistently from 45/50 yards and has even hit em from 60 before in practice.
#2
Austin Delpont.

The East Carter kicker, Ithink his name is Langstaff.

Harlan Ind. has a good one, not sure of his name though.

You must be exaggerating.

Or he's on something. Pack is a great Punter not a place kicker.

Delpont and Knuckles have a close rival in Pineville's Al Merrick. Merrick is younger brother of Bell County All-State Kicker, Monte Merrick now of Western Kentucky University. Al and Patrick used to play soccer together and have practiced together. Merrick has been in Delpont's shadow for three years in 1-A District 7. Al Merrick is 5-6 on field goals on season. Merrick was 5/6 touchbacks against Jackson County and 90% on season. All are landing in endzone. His longest kickoff was 69 yards in air with good hang time at Lynn Camp.

According to Prokicker he is 2nd in the state behind Gray White of St. X and is 4th in the nation. This is the kicker/punter combo rankings. http://www.prokicker.com/rankings/highschool/combos

Do they keep updating this? This was reported by the Hazard Herald in July.....

Hazard Herald released July 8, 2009, Austin Delpont, an upcoming senior at Hazard High School, has just been ranked by Prokicker as the No. 1 kicker/punter combo in Kentucky and as the No. 4 kicker/punter in the nation. He is also ranked as the 5th best kickoff specialist in the nation. Prokicker, one of the top three kicking/punting ranking systems in America, ranks athletes through a series of 54 camps held throughout the US, evaluating over 2,000 kickers/punters annually. Ninety-five percent of all Division I and II colleges/universities depend on these rankings in evaluating potential college athletes.

UK needs to seriously consider this kid.

My Priorities are:
1)God
2)Family
3)Cougar Athletics!

Everything else doesn't matter!

UK has already signed a 4-star kicker from Ohio.
#23
Knuckles kicks em into the end zone with more regularly than either of the Merrick brothers , Sorry Bell County fans but advantage Knuckles.
