JC always finds a way to give the Birds all they can handle, but JC has to goto Fort Thomas this time around. All Highlands in this one!

JC will be looking at the back of AC, Bardo, and Fennell's jerseys all night long.
I think the Eagles can put a td or two up on the board, but their defense will be in for a LOOOONG night against the Birds offense. Too much speed at the skill positions and too physical up front for the JC defense to contain.
I also don't see JC's offense getting anywhere near the numbers that they've put up the past two weeks against Highlands defense. I have a feeling Mr. Dillon and Mr. Jude aren't going to like the welcoming they get from Mr. Roller.

Look we all know who fort thomas is, but don't expect the eagles to come up there and hand you the trophy. Like matney says they will hit, hit, hit, all night long. In the end we will see what the out come is. Please don't think that these kids are so guttless that they are going to not try to win and be beaten before it starts. These kids want this real bad, and are very hungry! I look for this to be a better game than most expect. Win or lose, I am proud to be a fan of this great program that we have here in Johnson county Ky. Go eagles !!!

Last year everybody was predicting a Bluebird blowout and JC was one fumble return from pulling the upset. IF HHS gets too cocky, it could happen again. JC plays the style of ball that the Birds struggle against. I look for this game to be closer than the predicted scores I've been seeing. Travel safe and we'll see y'all on Friday!

Couldn't the same be said about the Highlands kids too? Nobody ever said JC would come up and just lay down, but the fact is, Highlands is just that good.
Johnson Central hasn't seen the team speed that they'll see Friday night in Ft. Thomas. This year's team is much better than last years both offensively and defensively.
Highlands also didn't have their stud MLB Brandon Roller last year against the Eagles. I have a feeling he'll be making his presence known early and often in this game.
BTW, just because a few of us fans say Highlands is going to steamroll JC doesn't mean that we share the same opinion as the coaches/players. They respect all of their opponents and will treat each and every game as if it's their last.

The 4 JC losses came to one 3A school, two 4A schools and a 3 - 8 team from Mississippi. They did not play a non-district game vs a 5A or higher team.
Highlands non-district schedule included four 6A schools, one 1A school and two Ohio D1 schools, including nationally ranked Cincy St Xavier.
