The numbers aren't there like they used to be, which hurts. I disagree with your points on coaching though. Paintsville has a very young coaching staff. I just hate that Jason hasn't got any help from alumni that has more coaching experience. The only coach I know of that has coached at all in the past is Dustin Hall (defensive coordinator). I figured Dustin would run the offense, but I was informed he's over the defense this season. Over time the staff will get better, and the players will get better.

One of the best young football coaches in the area is at JC, and he's a Paintsville alumni. . Justin Arms is doing a great job and will end up being a top notch head coach one of these days..considering he's learning from one of the best coaches in eastern ky. It wouldnt surprise me to see Justin being one of matneys top assistant coaches one of these days

Who's young? All the coaches are atleast 24 years old. What alumni with "coaching experience" is suppose to help, there aren't hardly any with coaching experience. Dut has what, 3-4 years in now, he started when he was younger than I am (he's 26 by the way). As for Justin, he's my best friend (literally, not just sayin that), yes he is a good coach and is gonna be a dandy head coach one of these days. This makes his 3rd year bein an assistant. So what makes him or Dustin any different than me and Adam Davis (paintsville's RB coach). They both started coaching young. I'm actually older right now than either one of them were when they started.
