I did not see the game.... However you can't ask your team to lay down because you are up by a bunch. You can't tell them to not block,tackle or do the things they have been taught since the season practices began. What a coach can do is make sure every player get's playing time. Otherwise when a team is up by a certain score, they only recieve half of the points they score and the down team gets the other half. Either that or have the refs. stop the game and pass out a white flag and go home. I know this is silly and I am not a L.C. or S.V. but total discression is with the stronger team and better coach. The running clock has already been added.
