The closest I've came to losing a child is when my ex-fiance' had a miscarriage after 3 months back in May. The pregnancy wasn't planned, but I was in a decent position life-wise and loved her, and would've been able to afford a baby easily. She would've been a great mom, and I was so excited. Things just didn't work out though.

I have had to go through something similar though. I lost my dad in a coal mining accident when I was 17..I swear that's the hardest thing I've ever had to go through. Out of all the crap I've been through at my age, these injuries I'm dealing with and all of it, I'd go through it a million more times just to have my Dad back.

I do realize losing a child is probably the worse loss you can have, and I lost mine before I even had it and it was pretty tough, I don't even want to think about losing a kid after they're born.
