I will more than likely be moving to the area sometime in late 2012. Can you tell me where I need to be looking. I will be renting either an apartment or house. Id love to find a nice 2 br house in a neighborhood setting for a 4 year old.
I need to be about 30 min from Cincy. A little farther would be ok if the price or location is great.
I know its a long way away but Id like to research and get as much info as I can.
As of right now off the top of my head, the areas around the border are Covington, Newport, Florence, and Fort Thomas? Are those going to be the main ones I need to be searching?

Alexandria is nice
Really anything to the south end of Campbell Co. Little bit country yet close to the city.

For the price, the Southern part of the county can't be beat. Alexandria still has plenty of reasonable housing. Route 27 is a straight shot Cincinnati. It leads you straight onto 471 or 275. It's semi-rural, or you can find fully rural. All within minutes of 27 or the AA HWY. If you are looking for apartment living, it's here as well. Taxes are still reasonable.

If you want to be in the city, Newport, Bellevue, Dayton and Covington are right on the river and only minutes from downtown Cincinnati. Nothing rural about these cities, but you can find very reasonable housing or rental.
