Belfry has definitely been the top mountain team of the past decade. For a 3A school, Belfry's schedule was much tougher over the past decade than Bell County's was.

Bell County has beefed up its schedule recently and has clearly had the second best program over the past decade, but for most of that time the only team that was any kind of threat to them during the season was Rock - and vice versa for Rock. One game decided the district championships and the non-district schedules were weak. Belfry has always played a pretty strong non-district schedule.
