Got to listen to this one on the radio because I didn't make the trip to Inez assuming that it was going to wash it out.LOL. But congrats to both teams on a very well paid game it sounds like. Shout out to Josh Moore for hitting a big HR that, for a while, looked like it would be the only run of the ballgame. Also outstanding job by both pitchers in Banks and Dustin VanHoose. Very impressive game any way you look at it. I'd hate to be the district winner that draws Paintsville in the Regional Tournament. This bunch is really clicking.

I thought that when Paintsville announced that John Doug was going to be the new coach they had the right guy. I knew that he would bring a well prepared team into the distict tournament whenever that time came around. Baseball players are not born, they are developed. He's been a good friend for a lot of years. Heck of a nice guy and a heck of a coach. Looks like this group has gotten better and better as the season has gone on and has bought into whatever philosophy that he has implimented, which in knowing John Doug that has entailed hard work and discipline.
