Whether a person uses drugs, is green, or has 3 legs it is is still a human life. It is always a sad day when someone passes. If the passing is from fault of their own there is still no need to harass them. You can say one less dope head or one less jackass but imagine how the friends and family members feel? Put yourself in their shoes for a minute before you pass judgement.

I agree with you 100%, and you have spelled the Christian manta out here nicely. Alcohol and drug addiction is certainly more than a choice as those who have spelled it out so nicely by simplifying it as. To become a junkie is a choice just like drinking and driving, cheating on your wife, or stealing from your local convenience store. Those choices become habits for many. I thank god that no one in my direct family has been afflicted with this disease. But I have seen it first had as it destroyed so many of my friends families. I dare say that we have members on this site that have a drug of alcohol problem. To simplify it so easily and say she got what she deserved is no one on here's right to say. Can they say it? Absolutely! But is it justified, not so! Though I won't lose any sleep over the death of Amy Winehouse, I do feel for her mother or father who likely have suffered greatly watching the death of her daughter be spelled out for so long in front of them. Yes, she did this to herself. But there comes a point in addiction that many people lose control. That's what happened here! I'll let God sort it out.
