Pregnancy resulting from rape is extremely rare. Pregnant females are certainly not victims. They have a right to choose. They can choose to keep their pants zipped. If they become pregnant they have helped to create a new human being from the moment of conception. Morally, biblically, and medically, this is a separate being who is deserving of all the protections provided by the constitution. Because of political cnsiderations rather than reality, the law doesn't accept the moment of conception as the creation of a human being. To recognize this truth would be to confirm that the Due Process Clause and the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment apply to newly created human beings. Nonetheless, the facts are what they are.
