I think the penalties should be a bit harsher towards the school and coach, but I am relieved that the KHSAA did the right thing by not punishing the players. The players in question were only trying to do the best thing to help their development, no reason for them to suffer at the expense of a school and coaching staffs negligence.

IMO, Chapman should have been suspended 4 games (two non-district, two district). As it stands now he is suspended for 3 games that are going to be "easy W's". The suspension should instead be for Greenup, Phelps, East Ridge, and Lawrence County. The Hawk's equipment manager could coach PC to wins over Phelps, Powell County, and Shelby Valley this year.
