Holmes’ (1-0) senior quarterback Charles Knox accounted for two touchdowns for the Bulldogs, one through the air and one on the ground en route to a seven-point victory over Scott (0-1).
Holmes got their other touchdown on an 80-yard kickoff return.

Scott senior running back Ryan Sowder rushed 12 times for 88 yards and two touchdowns in the loss.
