Towles is more than capable of throwing that "sticks" route, which of course is a reference to the 1st down marker. I've seen him make several of the 70 mph heater on sideline variety.
As for the topic at hand, I agree that the intermediate passing game is something that has been lacking in the past couple of years and is likely a product of what the D is giving them and Coach Collinsworth's influence
