Highlands running backs were all impressive in this one. True had his best game ever, and Harris and Seidl both looked great. Short passing game was out of sync all night, but Sheehan, Turner, and Towles were clicking otherwise. The defense was pretty scary, causing several fumbles on the few passing plays that Western tried, limiting the run and laying some big hits. After the first quarter flew by, the second quarter dragged on because the refs seemed to flag every play. Western looked stunned after the first quarter, but kept pounding away. They had an injury or two that hurt them, #4 (no roster to refer to,) running back hobbled early by an ankle injury, but stuck around, only to limp off later and not return. They'd be a good matchup for Dixie. Overall the game left us wondering about the state of 4A in Kentucky.
