Slim, you make some valid points. But playing a Wolfe Co. team against some of the baseball powers around the state isn't going to happen. Wolfe can barely compete in its own district/region. They did add a few decent teams to their schedule last year (Hazard, Montgomery, Perry, Powell). While putting Creech up against top pitching would be interesting, the rest of the team would get embarrassed, most likely. Who's to say a good team would even throw a #1 against Wolfe, or even pitch to/around him.? If Creech wants to see how he compares to others' abilities, he needs to attend several of the college camps, showcases, and pro tryouts, and be evaluated. I've known of several kids who have been signed from these. You can find lots of them online.
