This is ridiculous. I can see where they are coming from, but not that many kids, in my opinion, are goin to stick a chaw or dip in because their big league hero's are doing it. First time I ever tried to dip, I puked my guts out. It was that way until I enlisted, and still, I'd rather smoke than dip, it's only a last resort.

Kids will make their own decision on whether or not they like chewing as soon as they swallow their first dip/chaw, lol. High schools sports, and high school period, is where most kids will try all that, doesn't matter if their favorite MLB player is dipping or not. At least it doesn't matter enough to ban it in the MAJOR Leagues. Ya know, Major League Baseball, last time I checked they were all adults, and no politician needs to be sticking their dirty noses into anything baseball-related unless it's as a fan or steroids related.
